About Nina

Nina is an International Multi-Award Winning Actor, Singer, Writer, Producer, Director and Senior University Lecturer in the Voice.  Nina has won the WOHA CELEBRATING 50 GLOBAL WOMEN AWARD 2021 – COVID19 COMMUNITY CHAMPION AWARD 2020 – WGGB OLWEN WYMARK THEATRE ENCOURAGEMENT AWARD 2020 from WRITERS GUILD  OF GREAT BRITAIN; AWARD OF EXCELLENCE at The Houses of Parliament BLACK HISTORY MONTH; a LEGEND AWARD for SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY & HUMANITY at Trinidad & Tobago Awards; GAB AWARD for Excellence in The Arts for Africa & Africans around the World; OPERA SINGING UK AFRICA DIASPORA FORUM AWARD for Making a difference in the Community; WOMEN OF EXCELLENCE AWARD at MOTHERS & QUEENS AWARDS & NOMINATIONS from WhatsOnStage Awards.  

Her first musical play Nina Kristofferson’s Billie Holiday Story about the iconic jazz singer Billie Holiday, Premiered and Sold-Out at Edinburgh Fringe Festival, followed by a successful 2012 tour culminating in a 2013 Sold-Out run in London’s West End, Charing Cross Theatre.  Nina Kristofferson’s Billie Holiday Story was presented at LATITUDE Festival 2019.  Nina has since gone on to write another musical ‘Timeless‘ which is a light hearted musical – sung in 5 different languages celebrating some of our most loved songs from around the World to include music from Beyoncé to Puccini.  Then came Nina Kristofferson Festive Christmas an immersive extravaganza of some of our most favourite Christmas tunes and the celebrated London Jazz Festival favourite Nina Kristofferson Sings Jazz celebrating the classic jazz music from the Golden Age of Jazz and Hollywood bringing you the glorious music from the Great American Song Book.  Using her genius skills and gifts, Love Thou Art My Soul is Nina Kristofferson’s first short film inspired by Vissi D’Arte from Tosca by Giacomo Puccini as the director, creator, producer and lead actress, this is Nina’s first entry into the World of Film as she expresses her gratitude for her God given talents and for all of your continued love and support throughout all of her projects and collaborations.

Nina has also played many leading roles in Theatre & Screen including Medea in Medea, Northern Broadsides; Cleopatra, Antony & Cleopatra, B’ham Rep; Valerie Ronson, World of Darkness, Feature Doc; Paula Symons, Doctors, BBC; Bess, Porgy & Bess, Liz Imbrie, High Society, West End Shaftesbury Theatre & Regent’s Park. 

Mrs Vanderkieft, The Sting Wilton’s Music Hall, Most recently Nina played Fanny Dashwood & Mrs Jennings, Sense & Sensibility, Pitlochry Festival Theatre & OVO Theatre, Janelle Woods & Lead Shirelles & Musician – Keys 2 & 3, Beatutiful: The Carole King Musical, Pitlochry Festival Theatre, Ethel McCormack & Musician – Keys 1 & 2, Footloose, The Musical , Pitlochry Festival Theatre & New Wolsey Theatre followed by a Transfer Extension to New Wolsey Theatre.  Nina is playing herself in Food For Thought, Vegan Feature Film Documentary.  Along with performing in Concerts Nina is also a Soloist in Opera/Classical Soiree’s in UK, USA & Europe and she’s a Voice Over Artiste for Commercials & Games in the UK & Abroad and a Co-Presenter for Channel 2 – Talk Radio, Women in Business Radio Show.
